Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully realized meditation master and internationally renowned Teacher of Buddhism. Ordained a Buddhist monk in 1939 at the age of eight, he studied for twenty years in the great monastic universities of Tibet, earning the title 'Geshe,' which literally means 'spiritual friend.'
Llenay Ferretti, Resident Teacher

Llenay began to study and practice Kadampa Buddhism in Florida in 2000. Since moving to Annville several years ago, she has worked extensively to help Dharma to flourish in South Central PA. A student of the Teacher Training Program, she brings joy to those around her through sincerely integrating the spiritual path into her life. She is particularly known for her enthusiastic effort and light-hearted teachings.
James Bowman

James came to a meditation class in York in 2001 to complete a college class assignment and has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism ever since. After helping to start the Foundation Program in Harrisburg, he joined the Teacher Training Program. He is known for his quiet warmth and ability to put complex concepts into everyday language that everyone can relate to. He is the Education Program Coordinator for Kalpa Bhadra Center and teaches branch classes in Lancaster and York.
Lars English, Ph.D.

Lars has been a dedicated practitioner and student of Kadampa Buddhism for several years. Known for his generosity, sincerity, and insightful quick wisdom, he approaches life with warmth and kindness. Lars teaches the meditation class in Carlisle, meeting at Dickinson College where he is a professor of physics.
